At Grupo Sesé we are deeply committed to the environment in which we carry out our activities and we are concerned about the impact that these may cause. Aware that business expansion only makes sense if it is accompanied by sustainable development, since the birth of each new project measures are applied to minimize the impact on the environment, focusing its efforts on those factors that have the greatest environmental impact.
Zero CO2 Initiative
9,79% emissions reduction in 2018
Grupo Sesé has achieved the ceroC02 “calculates” label, within the framework of the zeroCO2 initiative launched by ECODES. This is a label that is granted to companies that demonstrate a real commitment to stopping climate change. The Group has achieved this recognition based on the calculation, verification and communication of the emissions of all its activities.
Since 2012, Grupo Sesé has been actively working to reduce the CO2 emissions of its mobile fleet, based on innovation, cutting-edge technology and in the continuous training of its drivers. Thus, in 2018 the organization achieved a remarkable reduction of 9.79% regarding the emissions generated in 2012, and strives daily to continue decreasing this figure.
In this year 2019, the Group has decided to take a further step in its commitment to the Environment. By launching a project for the integral measurement of its carbon footprint, expanding its focus beyond its fleet of vehicles, to cover its entire logistics, manufacturing and distribution chain.
